OKTOBERFEST 101

In keeping with the “Service Above Self” mission, the Apex Sunrise and Cary MacGregor Rotary Clubs have again partnered together in collaboration with the Town of Cary to host the 10th Annual Triangle Oktoberfest at Cary’s Booth Amphitheatre. We have created the largest and most authentic German festival in NC to celebrate German culture in the Triangle and to support charitable organizations here in our community and abroad.

Live entertainment will again showcase the King Guys Oktoberfest Brass Band with a great mix of traditional German songs and fun crowd favorites, the largest and most exciting Wiener Dog Races in NC with an added race on Friday, a kid friendly (and parent approved) Kinder Platz with inflatables and face painting, MassKrugstemmen for a chance to qualify for the 2nd Annual Stein Hoist Championships, SchlagenHammer (Hammer-Striking) competitions, the always crowd pleasing Miss and Mr. Oktoberfest contest, the AutoBahn to showcase German precision engineering, and a German Meetup Spot hosted by the Sisters City Association of Cary.
